# CoHost

Publisher can assign host privilege to viewers who are online.

### Overview

Using the instructions below, a publisher may now share hosting duties with a secondary user. This will allow the cohost to create and delete guest links, and manage who is allowed or not allowed into the stream room.

### How to Assign a CoHost

1. Click the **Publisher Panel** icon.

### Constraints & Behavior

* Only the **Publisher** can assign or revoke host privileges — Co-Hosts cannot elevate other viewers.
* Host privileges are available to co-host unless Publisher revokes it.
* The Publisher retains all Co-Host capabilities at all times.
* The **Assign CoHost** option is only visible for viewers listed under the **Added** tab who are currently online.
